International
Teacher Placement Service (ITPS) provides
excellent benefits for our team members, which
makes the transition of moving and working in a
foreign country a much smooth task.
Network
of support. You will be closely supported
by ITPS staff in the US, Taiwan, China ,Japan
or your assigned country.
Raising
support. ITPS office will handle all
receiving, receipts, tracking and
acknowledgement of donations. All
donations to ITPS are tax deductible.
ITPS
staff will help negotiate with potential
schools for better terms, salary and
benefits on behalf of each team members
prior to assigning them to the schools. (Please
note: ITPS does not assign teachers to
Schools in Taiwan, there are many options
and the teachers have to make personal
decisions)
Home
church arrangements. Two to five team
members are assigned to the same church.
You work closely with the church members
and help their out-reach activities and
English classes.
TEFL
and culture training provided. All team
members have to go through and pass the
TEFL curriculum training and receive a
TEFL certificate. It is ITPS's desire to
provide highly qualified teachers for
overseas assignments . The mission
training and TEFL curriculum lessons will
be provided in Orange County, California.
Medical
insurance. ITPS works with schools
to provide health insurance for you. The
insurance should be available after
completion of your paper work and other
necessary government documentations.
OBLIGATIONS
AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
One-year
commitment All ITPS contracts are
one year in duration in order to qualify
for working permits.
Help
your host church's outreach ministry with
an average of 6 hours a week (Sunday
morning service hours inculded) with a
servant's heart.
Obey
the common law and traffic law of your
host country and respect the local
culture.
No
personal dating relationship with a
fellow teacher or a national during the
first year overseas service.
