TENT MAKER POSTIONS
(One Year Term):

International Teach Placement Service (ITPS) provides excellent missionary tent-making opportunities for any mission mined Christians who are having a desire to spend one year for our Lord teaching English in a foreign country, the followings are the descriptions of the positions available:

Requirements:

• 4-year college degree of any major.

• A well-development sense of professional responsibility, a caring attitude and a creative approach towards classroom instruction.

Positions:

1. English teaching positions available in Taiwan, China or Japan.
2. Teaching in private & public elementary or high schools. Teacher with a Master degree could be assigned to a college or university.
3. One-year contract (renewable). Application accepted all year round.

Locations: 
Taipei, Taichung or Kaohsiang in Taiwan.
Tokyo, Osaka or Nagoya areas in Japan.
Major cities in China

Salary: 
US$1500 - $2000/month (Taiwan)
US$1000-$2000/month (Japan)
US$500/month (China)

Support Raising: Not required but encouraged.

Job Description:

1. Working with host church's youth program and teaching English to the students as part of church's out reach functions.
2. Teaching English to elementary, high school or college/adult age students for 25-30 hours/week, vacation time could be pre-arranged.

Training: 2-week of missions and TEFL training by UCI. A TEFL certificate will be issued upon the completion of the training. Training location will be held in Orange County, California. There will be on-site orientation/culture training at the host church or mission field.

International Teach Placement Service (ITPS) is looking for full-time missionaries who are willing to spend one year serving our Lord abroad. The followings are descriptions of the positions available:

Requirements:

• 4-year college degree of any major.

• Willing to serve our Lord full-time instead of doing tentmaking. You will be supported by our staff and host churches.

Positions:

1. Teach English and do outreach activities with national churches or Christian groups.
2. Opportunity to teach elementary, high school, college or adult age students and build freindship.
3. One-year contract (renewable). Application accepted all
   year round.

Locations: Taiwan or China.

Finance: Support raising is required.

Job Description:

1. Work with host church's youth program and teach English to the students at the church's outreach activities.
2. Teach English in a private or public school for a few hours a week if needed as part of the evangelical functions.
